Mid-Century Ranch

Working closely with designer / Artist Mieke of Saanti Design, Los Angeles, we created a simplified and modern kitchen to match the updated Ranch style mid-century home. An artist herself, the homeowner needed a ‘simple’ but fun and functional kitchen as a backdrop for her colorful paintings.

The most unusual part of the kitchen is the partially floating island that also houses the cooking area and oven. Dark gray LEICHT cabinetry and thin Quartz tops, with a splash of orange, mixed with mid-century Walnut made a perfect modern kitchen.
